How to Promote Your Services on LinkedIn

Hi Reader,

Happy Friday! I am rested and relaxed after beach time with my sister and brother. And that leads to reflection😎 LinkedIn reflection. What is going well, and where can I grow?

The good news is that I started posting just one more day a week in June from 3 to 4. The results are that my impressions have almost doubled! That means more people who see my posts, and consequently, more people interact with my posts, giving me more opportunities to start conversations.

And that is where the opportunity to grow comes. Sales is not easy for me. Being uncomfortable "selling" is common. To combat this I can make sure people can learn about, engage, and contact me easily. My opportunity for growth is upping my visibility on LinkedIn and updating ways for people to connect with me and learn about my services.

The first place I am doing this is at the top. I have switched this from a newsletter sign-up to showcase my website. The newsletter link wasn't doing well there so this is a data-based decision.

The next place is my featured section (if you don't have it you can add this by using the "add a profile section" button).

In the Featured section, you can add links. Currently, I have my website and VIP day link. I am adding my newsletter subscription link and a specific book-a-call link here. This will increase the number of ways people can engage with me.

Don't be afraid to make tweaks. Small changes can bring big results. Next week I will show you how to customize these links for tracking purposes. In the meantime, check your profile to ensure you have clear ways for people to learn more and reach out to you and consider posting more often if you have the bandwidth.
